Call for Presenters
This year has certainly demonstrated the need identified by our strategic plan to be more mobile in EMLF’s mission to provide high-quality material for its members by providing online programming in addition to in-person programming. Over the past several months, the EMLF Online Programming Committee has worked to prepare a standing series of monthly webinars set to begin in January of 2021. The Committee welcomes proposals from EMLF members interested volunteering as presenters for these webinars in the first quarter of 2021 by November 30, 2020. As part of the proposal, EMLF asks that the submission include the name of the presenter(s), the topic to be analyzed, the importance of that topic to EMLF’s members, and an estimate of the duration of the webinar. We also seek to put on current events webinars to address any breaking news (e.g. court decisions, rule promulgation). If you are willing to be “on call” to provide one of these such webinars, please let us know and indicate your particular areas of expertise. Please submit proposals to Anna at email@example.com.
Call for Papers
The Energy & Mineral Law Foundation seeks authors to contribute scholarly papers on topics relevant to legal practitioners in the areas of energy, mineral, and natural resources law for publication in the 2020 edition of the Energy & Mineral Law Institute. The papers must be the original work of the author(s) and may not have been previously published.
Full information about manuscript preparation, including formatting and publishing specifications, please see the Author Guidelines available on our website. Papers must be submitted in electronic format by November 16, 2020. For more information, please e-mail EMLF Publications Chair, Professor Keith Hall, at firstname.lastname@example.org, or EMLF Executive Director, Anna Fletcher at email@example.com.
