Annual Institute Early Bird Registration Discount Ends Friday, May 25

Annual Institute registration fees increase by $95 after May 25, so be sure to register online or mail your registration form to EMLF, 340 South Broadway, Suite 101, Lexington, KY 40508 or fax your registration to 859.226.0485.  Registration fees include all educational sessions, meeting materials and CD, welcome party at the Riviera Theater with live music by The Corduroy Road, June 25 reception at the Charleston Place Hotel, and continental breakfasts and refreshment breaks.

The 33rd Annual Institute on June 24-26  is accredited for Mandatory Continuing Legal Education and with the AAPL.  The program contains 820 minutes of MCLE, including 120 minutes of ethics.  This is 13.6 CLE hours in states calculating 60 minutes for a CLE hour and 16.4 CLE hours in states calculating 50 minutes for a CLE hour.

Charleston Place Hotel Room Block Release on May 25

Special room rates for EMLF Annual Institute registrants are available only through May 25th at the Charleston Place Hotel, 205 Meeting Street in historic Charleston, South Carolina.  The rate will be honored three (3) days prior and three days post meeting on a space available basis.  To reserve a room, call 800.831.3490 and ask Group Reservations for the EMLF rate of $230 single or double.

Mine Safety & Health Law Special Institute on September 22 in Las Vegas

The EMLF and the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation will co-sponsor a mine safety and health law program at the Wynn Las Vegas, in conjunction with MINExpo INTERNATIONAL® 2012, the world's largest and most comprehensive exposition dedicated to mining equipment, products and services, opening on September 24 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.  All EMLF, RMMLF, and MINExpo attendees will receive a reduced registration fee.  

Kentucky Mineral Law Conference – Request for Topics

The 2012 Kentucky Mineral Law Conference in Lexington will be at a new location this fall – the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Lexington, October 24-26.  The program  begin on Wednesday afternoon and end at noon on Friday.  A planning luncheon will be held in Lexington in early June to review the topics and discuss prospective speakers.
