Abstracting Mineral Titles in the Appalachian Basin
A crowd of 456 abstractors, attorneys and landmen attended the EMLF's March 10-11 programs in Canonsburg, PA, covering Basic Abstracting and Intermediate Title Issues, chaired by Arnie Schulberg, Attorney, Hurricane, WV. Basic Abstracting was taught by Joyce Trew, EQT Producing, Pittsburgh; Tom Lane, Bowles Rice McDavid Graff & Love, Charleston; Leslie Miller-Stover, Steptoe & Johnson, Charleston; Joel Symonds, EQT Production Co., Charleston; James Witte, Glenville State College, Glenville, WV; Ryan Purpura, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, Pittsburgh; Nathaniel Hunter, Spilman Thomas & Battle, Pittsburgh; Jonathan Higie and Andrew S. Chumney, Peacock Keller & Ecker, Washington, PA; and Timothy Rounds, Jackson Kelly, Charleston.

Intermediate Issues in Mineral Title Examination was taught by Russ Schetroma, Steptoe & Johnson, Meadville, PA; Sean Cassidy, Cassidy & Associates, Greensburg, PA; Paul Atencio and Bruce F. Rudoy, Tucker Arensberg, Pittsburgh; Justin Rubenstein, Burleson Cooke, Canonsburg, PA; James Adams, The Sadler Law Firm, Houston; Michael Barron, EQT Production, Washington, PA; Tom Lane, Bowles Rice McDavid Graff & Love, Charleston; and Christopher B. The EMLF program was held in conjunction with the monthly dinner meeting of the Michael Late Benedum Chapter of the AAPL.
